Crop Manager (Carrots & Parsnips)
Kettle Produce Limited is one of the major suppliers of fresh and pre-packed vegetables in the UK. We are a dynamic and customer focused business and our Field department plays a pivotal role in the successful operation of the business.
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a highly capable individual to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Agronomy & Harvesting, the successful candidate will organise and co-ordinate the field production of carrot and parsnip crops grown for the business.

Shift Manager - Production - Orkie
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Shift Manager at our Orkie site.
This role is a full-time role and will bring exciting challenges and a lot of autonomy. It is a chance to use the experience you have gained within a relatable role and take it to the next level. Its not just about produce and targets however, it is about leading people.

Supervisors - Production - Both Sites
As a Supervisor within Production, you are managing both people and process. In this varied and busy role, we are looking for individuals who are comfortable in managing demands and challenges, and is driven by end results. To thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who will engage and motivate and support those in their team in a positive manner.Our Supervisors report directly into your Team Leader.
Pay Rate £13.88 per hour basic£17.36 per hour O/T
Machine Controller - Both Sites
Do you have previous experience in machine operation or minor maintenance repairs? Controllers carry out minor repairs and basic preventative maintenance in order to enhance machine uptime and to achieve product quality standards.
If you are looking for a change of direction here at Kettle Produce or to progress from Machine Operator, this is an ideal opportunity! Machine Controller is also a great pathway into other maintenance related areas of the business.
Monday-Friday Dayshift of Backshift

We are looking to introduce new mechanical engineering talent to our current engineer crew at Orkie and Balmalcolm.
This role is about supporting production with planned and reactive engineering solutions to keep the lines running and minimise down time. A keen eye for detail, a considered decision maker and a confident communicator are all attributes we are looking for in this role.
Working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (1 x rotation days 6am-6pm and 1 x rotation nights 6pm-6am).
Salary is from £40,019.53 a year including shift allowanceDependent on experience, with three salary levels.

If you have electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing role, ideally with 18th Edition and are time served then we would be keen to hear from you! Team Leader Production - Both Sites
Team Leaders report directly to the Shift Manager and are responsible for a team of Process Workers in their production area (with the support of Supervisors, Machine Controllers, Machine Operatives and Production QAs).
To succeed in this role, we are looking for those who will engage, motivate, and support a positive way. People management is a major part of this role.
A strong, proven background in people management is essential. Team Leaders take responsibility for developing their team including; training, coaching, performance and absence management, appraisals and ensuring you have a happy, engaged, motivated team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise and implement production plans to deliver targets are also essential.

Distribution Operatives - Balmalcolm
Tuesday to Saturday Dayshift.
Wednesday to Saturday Backshift
Sunday to Thursday Dayshift and Backshift
Is Distribution something that interests you? Does working towards getting your Forklift Licence appeal? Do you already have Forklift Experience?
As part of our friendly Distribution Team, you will be responsible for picking and scanning finished good to fulfil orders which then get loaded onto haulage. Also moving produce around the chill area. Using handheld scanners, you will rotate between building pallets of orders, or being on the forklift, working as a pair. This is very much a team effort. Every day is different, and the department has tight knit teams across the shifts. Distribution is the last piece of the Kettle jigsaw – building the pallets and getting the fresh produce onto the HGVs ready to go to customer RDCs.
