We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a highly capable individual to join our team.  Reporting to the Head of Agronomy & Harvesting, the successful candidate will organise and co-ordinate the field production of carrot and parsnip crops grown for the business.

We are looking to introduce new mechanical engineering talent to our current engineer crew at Orkie and Balmalcolm.

This role is about supporting production with planned and reactive engineering solutions to keep the lines running and minimise down time.  A keen eye for detail, a considered decision maker and a confident communicator are all attributes we are looking for in this role.

Working a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (1 x rotation days 6am-6pm and 1 x rotation nights 6pm-6am).   

Salary is from £42,641 a year including 22.50% shift allowance
Dependent on experience, with three salary levels.  

We are looking to introduce new electrical engineering talent to our current engineer crew at Orkie and Balmalcolm.

If you have electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing role, ideally with 18th Edition and are time served then we would be keen to hear from you!

Sunday to Thursday Backshift

As part of our friendly Distribution Team, you will be responsible for picking and scanning finished good to fulfil orders which then get loaded onto haulage.   Also moving produce around the chill area.  Using handheld scanners, you will rotate between building pallets of orders, or being on the forklift, working as a pair.  This is very much a team effort.

Every day is different, and the department has tight knit teams across the shifts. 

Distribution is the last piece of the Kettle jigsaw – building the pallets and getting the fresh produce onto the HGVs ready to go to customer RDCs.

Our Commercial team is expanding and we are currently recruiting for a developing and motivated Sales Representative. 

The successful candidate will initially for a period of 3-6 months spend time within several areas of the business to build on product knowledge, this will include time in our fields, factory, product development etc.

Then the successful candidate will establish, maintain and continually develop profitable business, in the product area of prepared fresh produce.  They will work effectively and cost consciously within a busy and dynamic sales team.

 Salary: £35,000, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Office based 3 days, Homebased/Customer Site 2 days

Our Supervisors report directly into our Team Managers.

Working Hours are 41.25 hours per week, various shifts available:

Day shift - Monday to Friday 05.45 – 14.30

Back Shift - Monday – Friday 14.45 – 23.30

Mixed Shift - Sunday 07.15 – 16.00 & Monday – Thursday 14.45 – 23.30

Pay Rate
£14.79 per hour
£18.49 per hour O/T

Back shift allowance is £8.00 per shift at least 6 hours gross must be worked after 14.00 to qualify.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a highly capable individual to join our team at our site located at Heatherinch, Ladybank.  Reporting to the Harvesting Operations Manager, the successful candidate will maintain all equipment employed by the Field department and coordinate all field workshop activities.
