Factory Production Technician

Kettle Produce Limited is one of the major suppliers of fresh and pre-packed vegetables in the UK. We are a dynamic and customer focused business and we all play a pivotal role in the successful operation of the business.

We are looking for a Factory Production Technician to undertake the responsibility of maintaining the good condition and functionality of the carrot line. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks such as setting up, adjusting and minor maintenance on the equipment.

A Factory Production Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all Health & Safety guidelines.

This highlights the key activities of the role. However, it should be noted that this is not an exhaustive list and other duties will be required to be fulfilled on a daily and ongoing basis.

This role will require flexibly in order to meet the continually changing needs of the business and to demonstrate a collaborative approach, working closely with key stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £11.99 per hour

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct spot checks on how the equipment has been set up to ensure it meets manufacturer’s guidelines and Company procedures.
  • Assist in training new team members and, where required, existing employees on key functions of operating the equipment.
  • Creating and setting product programmes.
  • Carrying out audits on the performance of the equipment.
  • Highlight any issues to the Team leader/Shift Manager
