Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and production lines
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime
- Maintain PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels
- Ensure compliance with food safety, electrical, and workplace safety standards
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to improve equipment reliability
- Participate in shift work or on-call duties as required
Skills:
- SVQ3 and HNC in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regs Certification
- IPAF License
- Experience in an industrial or food processing environment
- Experience with single phase and 3 phase systems in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and Computerised maintenance Management Systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or similar food safety systems

Salary from £48,743
