Key Responsibilities:
- Producing cropping programmes to achieve commercial budgets
- Securing the growers land required to produce the required volumes
- Monitoring crops under your control and advising growers on all aspects of ICM crop production, including agrochemical and fertiliser inputs (BASIS and FACTS qualifications required) to ensure the supply of high-quality product to our factories and our customers
- Maintain appropriate pesticide and cropping records in our GLGM system & ensure PPPL’s meet all assurance schemes and customer requirements
- Take full responsibility for product development, variety and agronomy trials
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of the latest husbandry techniques, new varieties and current research work and communicate these to growers to maintain a continuous improvement programme
